Default Is this oil ok?

I know it's been asked before but I wanted to see what the response was for a warm climate.

Bought mobile 1 fully synthetic 5w30 with filter and put it in my car yesterday. I've read that it burns a little faster than 10w30 but I'm good at checking on my oil level and adding when need be.

I'm in a very warm climate with some coldish nights - Charleston SC. Should I be concerned at all or just wait and switch back to 10w30 next oil change?

Thanks in advanced!

It might burn a little, but you'll be fine. If you're worried about the consumption check the oil level often and top off when need. There is absolutely no reason to dump the oil.
