Oil Near Timing Chain Tensioner?
Hey all...
I noticed I have what seems like an oil leak/stain near my timing chain tensioner area. I cleaned it about a month ago and its now back. Has anyone had this and how you fix it? I tighened all the bolts (which were still tight) and cleaned it off again. Its not dripping or even enough to build a drop, but it looks like it is spreading out. From the center point of it, it goes about 1/2 inch on all sides around it. I dont have any noise coming from the TCT though and I do not lose oil almost at all. Maybe 1/2 qt per 1 and 1/2 months with regular vtec time. Should I go ahead and replace the whole TCT with the gaskets/orings? I dont want to go and blow $150 bucks on a TCT while mine is still good. Thanks people
Rick
P.S. Ill post a pic later tonight...
