Yeah, this problem is basically like a needle in a haystack, would be simpler to just scrap the block etc. BUT hopefully it's the oil cooler... did a couple of quick searches and it seems it could be the problem... *fingers crossed*

coolant is at 10-15psi at normal operating temp while oil pressure is substantially higher. the leak may be small enough that it requires more then 15psi to seep past thus allowing the higher pressurized oil to get past but not the lower pressurized coolant.
