That's how much you'll need to buy, but the capacity of the transmission at oil change is 1.6 US qts and it's 0.8 US qts for the differential unit. Make sure you use the correct oil types in each.

There are excellent DIY threads by xviper on these subjects ... and more. Look in this thread for a listing of them and many others.
The short answer is that you drain the oil out via the drain hole, reinsert the drain plug and fill them with the correct fluid until the oil runs out the fill hole. If your car is level, then the correct amount of oil will be in each assembly.
