Hey guys, I was wondering when your guys' head gasket and valve covers started leaking if at all. My MY08 with 16k miles is apparently starting to. I don't abuse this car in any way; I shift between 3-5k rpms consistently and drive the car rarely. I did however buy it used from a Honda dealer but I doubt I have any warranty left. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen valve covers leak at 10k, sometimes it just happens. Just replace it its easy.

tru that, might as well check your valves while your in there!

Valve cover bolts can and do loosen over time. You probably just have to tighten them (8.7 ftlbs) carefully, and the leak will go away.

95% of s2k oil leaks are slight seepage from the timing chain case.

This and really stress the "carefully". You'll snap one of those little bolts in a heartbeat
