Oil jet bolts

No not a recall in North America, if you try to talk to a dealer about the issue they just look at you like you're from outer space. Once you spend a good part of an hour trying to describe the issue to them then they may agree to do the replacement for you, at your cost of course. Don't expect any help from Honda on this one.

Are there any pics anywhere as I have my engine in bits and would like to check if I already have the new ones or not and all the threads on this seem to have broken links ... or I can post a pic of mine later
My engine number doesn't match up with the ones posted either ... mine is F20C2-102184

A Honda dealership can tell if your car has been recalled.
My Dutch dealership had my licenceplate # wrong in their database.
At somepoint I mentioned this - I noticed it on receipts - and they changed it.
Then their computer produced orders for 4 new sparkplugs (with stickers to change the NGK part # in the manual too!) and seatbelt retractors - all for free, part of official recall.
They also confirmed the oil jets were done.
This was in (IIRC) 2009 or 2010, so 9-10 years after production, my car is a MY'00.
And my car was first sold in Gemany.
So I guess there is a European Honda database linking my Dutch licenceplate to a VIN#
The tech guy at the dealership told me (and showed me) that the mechanic performing the recall punches a dot under certain numbers or letters of the engine number to show a certain engine recall was done.
I agree, this info doesn't help a lot if you don't know what punch means what, and I forgot what was what.
It does look like you - bobonacus - have a centerpunch under the "C" and the "2" though.
And isn't there a hint of a "3" after the "4"?
A Honda dealer should be able to help you.

If you pull the pan, check visually first to avoid unneeded complications.
Old bolt head is about 5mm tall. New one is about 8mm tall.
Here's how they look in place in the oil jets. Note the tab on the jet, which sits in a hole in the block to aim the jet correctly.
Old bolt on left.............................................. .........................new bolt on right.
