Oil jet bolts

Goes by engine number, not production month.
Changeover was in mid 2002, 1025386 was once the engine number we went by, but then JFUSION found a earlier number by a hundred or two. i too have found the new bolts in earlier numbers. If you are over this number, you can say you already have the new bolts.
So, the only questionable year is 2002. Post your engine number, its on the left front of the block near the head gasket. Get a penlight.

Well keep us informed.
There is a way to check the bolt without removing it. you still need to pull the pan of course. The bolt head size is longer on the new bolts. I can get exact measurement if you need.

Just did this upgrade this past week. It was such a pain! Of course I didn't have the 1/4 flex shaft. Rode my bike to the local parts store looking for it which didn't have it. Then had to wait for my wife to get home go to sears and pick it up. After I got that flex shaft it was easier to put the bolt back in past the oil pump. If you don't have that flex shaft....go get one. Other then that it was pretty straight forward.

There is no official change over point for the new bolts, we only know the last engine number that is reported as having the new bolts. Your build date is only one month before mine, it is possible that you have the upgraded bolts, but the only way to know is to check them like I did. I initially thought that I had the old 2 hole bolts but I was pleasantly surprised. I think there may be a chance that you have the upgraded bolts.

well between March and August they may have produced 5,000 vehicles ?, I can't recall the production numbers that year but that's all I can think of. If your engine number is that much above the last reported engine with 4 hole bolts I would say that you are safe in having the new bolts.
