Use the search function and do some research.

The 00-mid year 02 used the two hole oil jet bolts and the 03-04's have the four hole bolts.

The older oil jet bolts tended to not give the engine enough oil at high rpm. So if you drive need redline a lot, then updated oil jet bolts would be a good idea.

You'd have to do a search...there's a serial # beyond which these came standard in the motor from the factory. It was sometime in mid 2002 model year when this happened so if you know the motor came out of a new car then you don't need to do it again.

We sell the bolts here http://gofastlab.com/s2ki/customer/product...9&cat=30&page=2

As MaxGeek said, they're a good idea if you plan to track your car a lot or do a lot of high-speed freeway driving for extended periods. These were actually a recall item in Europe but not here in the US since we don't drive the same way I guess they've never driven out west where 200 mile trips at 95 mph on the interstate means you're just keeping up with the flow of traffic.

I would imagine a competent mechanic could do it in 1.5-2 hours.

All one needs to do is pull the oil pan and the bolts are accessible from there. a lift is an almost absolute requirement.

Hmm.. I thought differently. From the pics I've seen you can just put the car on jackstands.

You are correct. A lift is not necessary.

though be careful when doing it...at least two blocks had to be replaced by Honda in UK when they did this work as a recall, they damaged the thread, apparently was in too tight from the factory.
