I've never heard of oil in the drive shaft. Maybe the tech means your rear halfshafts, as in either the inner our outer CV joint is leaking?...

Ohhh i know, check the rubber seal at the end of the propeller shaft connected to the tranny, it needs a 36mm to take out the nut !
i just changed mine last week. I had tranny oil all over ! pm me and ill send u some pics of what it is.

I expect the CV joints at either end of the drive shaft have a rubber boot filled with grease. If the rubber boot is split you need a replacement drive shaft or possible to have it serviced and a new boot fitted.

The colorless fluid leaking near the front wheel is water. It is normal condensation from the A/C.

the prop shaft does have grease inside it. If you look at the connectors (front and back), there is a rubber gasket, similar to what a Axle has! What usually happens is that the tech rounded off the allen bolts that hold the driveshaft to the tranny and diff. When he did that, he got out his dremel or other cutting wheel to break off the heads of the bolts. He slipped and hit that rubber gasket, causing a leak.

The inside of the propshaft CV looks like this (both ends)
I've had the same, oil like substance leaking out the little hole in the centre of the cap (at the left in my hand)
It turned out to be the grease itself, the oil seperated from the soap (thats how you make soap based grease)

At first I thought it was gearbox oil, but the rear seal leaks (if it does) to the outside, not inside the flange.
And then the oil needs to go through that little hole in the middle to mix with the grease... not likely IMO.

Check for damaged boots or other damage (as Soul mentioned)
Open them up, clean and repack with EP grease.
Use a little liquid gasket to seal the flanges.

I just changed the clutch in his shop and he said the drive shaft is bad and need to replace and ask me to replace it
So do u think he broke it and ask me to pay for the damage?

Unless I'm wrong, the driveshaft can only be bad if it's bent. The propeller shaft that connects to the driveshaft might be bad or might be in need of repair. Ask you mech to explain to you what is wrong with the driveshaft.
