Oil flow direction thru an oil filter?
I just received some of the parts I ordered for my remote oil filter + accusump setup and I now have a question regarding oil flow direction. I was hoping that the adapter would indicate which direction the oil is flowing but it doesn't. So the question is which direction does the oil flow thru or oil filter? Does it enter thru the many small holes surrounding the large central hole or vise versa?
My guess is that the oil enters the filter thru the many small holes and exits thru the large hole. I say that because there is what appears to be some sort of rubber seal or check valve immediately behind the small holes within the filter that would prevent oil from exiting thru them.
Does anyone know for sure?

Whenever you forget, remember the anti-drainback valve is that rubber ring right under the holes on the mating face. Oil MUST flow in the direction that moves the rubber ring away from the holes. Therefore, oil flows from the case of the filter toward the center.
Another reason this makes sense is the way the pleats are. Since they are formed in a circle, the pleats open up toward the case, where it can catch more dirt deep within the pleats without getting clogged up.
