I like to use commercial or heavy duty parts when I can for I have found that they are made way better than over the counter parts.
I use Baldwin oil filters. These are commercial filters that are way overkill for strength(300 lbs or more burst limit) and I like the extra oil for the engine that the larger oil filters offer. I use the Baldwin B7042 filter(3 11/16" X 5 3/8") and it's almost twice as big as a stock Honda oil filter for the "S". It takes 6 qts. of oil to fill after a oil and filter change. The B7042 filter has a 14 lb by-pass and if you want a higher by-pass pressure you can run the B202 filter(same size as the B7042)but it has a 20 lb. by-pass spring.
