Default Oil Flow from block/filter

Hi,

im just fitting an oil cooler and filter relocation kit, but neglected to remember/check which side the pressurized oil is from the block.

its difficult to explain, but i want the filter to be the first point from the blocks pressurized side.

does anyone have any diagrams or know off the top of their head?

its a uk spec f20c engine.

thanks!

The oil pump delivers oil to the OD of the filter. The oil passes from the outside diameter, through the filter media to the inner tube. i.e. - the center tube isn't the pressurized side.
