I just got 6 NOS early style 004 oil filters off eBay. They're in the original Honda packaging. So you can still get them.

Just a thought.

Looks like the LHT filter wrench is for sale. Feels a bit pricey to pay $90 for it though. Maybe wait and see if the new Lisle tool works better.

Wow. I understand the cost it takes for low scale CNC manufacturing, so definitely not overpriced but... wow.

Does this fit the 004 or the 306 filter? Funny that this was never a concern for me until I start reading things on the forum.....

Edit, I just read your post a few posts down, it fits the 306.

I just bought the Kyoto Tools one (KTC AVSA-080). 80mm 15 flutes for 22 + shipping. I just bought my s2000 last year and saw old posts about getting the Honda filter tool, which I did and was wondering why it slipped so much...

Due to clearance problems with the ratchet wrench, the filter wrench may not fit all the way down the filter.
