Oil Filter Question

Spitfire was actually being WAY too nice. If people would use the search engine, or buy a membership for that matter, before spouting off they would see that the S2000's motor develops some very high oil pressures, and Honda specs that. They could have used their super common smaller 4 cyl filters, but they have a custom one made for a reason.

Fram has significant problems at pressure due to the paper, and lousy drainback design, and the gasket is press-fit on. You can make it work, why take the chance? Pure scores the highest of the non-oem filters consistently on other applications and is available almost anywhere.

LOL, my thoughts exactly. I REALLY wanted to post something in response to all of the dumb-ass technical gems, but I couldn't think of any nice way to put my words. Spitfire was much more diplomatic. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to have computers.
