"I understand that it's not "the best" filter out there."

Correct, it's the worst. Use something else ... just about anything else ...

... except Mobil 1. The Mobil 1 oil filter is well made but highly restrictive.

I use the proper OEM filter ... but would also use Wix, Purolator, Bosch, etc ...

I've been using fram filters on the for 64k daily driven, VTEC filled miles. I'm currently at 93k with no issues what so ever. Your car will be fine.

S2000 filters are made by one of three manufacturers. Filtech (U.S. made) and Toyo Riki (made in Japan) or HAMP made in Japan.

Don't use FRAM. I use OEM S2K filters or Purolator Pure One filters only. FRAM is the worst filter you can buy, period.
Where are the facts? Support your claims my friend! FRAM is stupid! Not good enough!

USA filters from Honda (including S2000) are made from either filtech or Fram/Honeywell and JDM honda filters are made from toyo riki or Hamp. I read up on it from a few websites Im just too damn lazy to search for it.

It's Toyo Roki.

Anyway..
Read this:

All you ever wanted to know about S2000 OEM oil filters but were afraid to ask (or search for)

There has been no sign of 15400-PCX-004 filters made by Fram.
I doubt there ever will be.

Oh well...

I'm sure Fram/Honeywell makes some of the s2000 filters. I really dont want to search but regardless of the fact I still wont use oem when there are better products out there. Some say why spend 13 on an oil filter and I just say why spend 1000 plus on some exhaust that will show no gains.
