I check the oil and fluids when I get gas. By the time I'm done, the tank is full, but practically no one does this anymore. You'd think that if you had ten minutes to wait around while your SUV fills up, you'd at least go check the oil instead of just stand there...

Many states have removed the catches on the pump nozzles, which requires you to stand and hold the trigger while filling up. I no longer have the luxury of checking oil and cleaning windows while the gas is pumping. By the time I'm done pumping, someone is waiting in line behind me and I have to move the car.

Not that I would go that long, but 7.5k for dino or 15k for a synthetic should be no problem.
