Ok, the plugs seemed normal when I took the old ones out, luckily I filmed it so I can see. Please check the end of the video from 4mins 47secs and let me know. They looked normal to me but not sure what the sign of burning oil looks like on the plugs?

Appreciate your help!

I was debating on running different or thicker oil next :/

Actually here is the screenshot so you don't have to watch the spark plug tutorial lol

What do you think? I guess if you can't tell from this photo it's a compression test next...

Or it is just an AP1 that uses oil, like many other perfectly healthy AP1s in this world!!!! Why does something have to be wrong when this is VERY common!

Yeh, where does it officially say the 'oil consumption tolerance' that Honda say is OK?

Check your PCV if it is clogged or not. I changed mine out and consumption went down. Probably because there is less pressure in the valve case that is forcing oil through your piston rings.

Search man!! There are hundreds of threads dating back to 2000 where new cars were going through a quart every 1k. This very well may be the most common "issue" if you want to call it an issue on this entire board. If it runs fine, does not blow smoke, and has solid compression just add oil when needed.

FWIW my 2001 has been 1qt/1k since the previous owner purchased it @ 40k miles. It now has 133k and guess what 1qt/1k. If it were an issue the motor would have been toast long ago. My compression, 235 solid across all 4 cylinders.
