The srt-4 is a fast car, and you can make it fast very easily, howerver a s2000 is considerably harder to make fast. I also hate the fact that any mod for the s2k is fricking expensive. The srt-4 is alot easier to mod mullla wise.

Srt-4 pwns s2k from roll.

I have had my s2k for almost 8 months and it just isnt for me, its not fast enough, and it costs to much to make it fast enough.

My question is what kinda of money would it take to adjust the pistons?
A good tuner will be able to fine tune your pistons. You also might want to look into getting some heavy duty piston return springs.

yes, NA cars can still use them. kane could elaborate more on their uses in turbo applications, but for NA cars the krankvents seem to be a valid solution for oil consuption.
The krank vents are a universal application. The will work on N/A, turbo, S/C, and nitrous applications. For boosted cars they are almost a must because the factory PCV cannot hold up against any sort of pressure. This forces some boost to pass through and pressurize the crankcase which can damage the ring lands if the pressure is great enough.

The krank vents have had great success in the S2000's to reduce the high oil consumption of ALL years 00-07. Some people are fortunate to not have any consumption while others are plagued by 1-2 quarts every few thousand miles. That severe loss of oil can cost an engine. I run it myself on my own S2000 with so far no oil loss at all. Same for my 180,000 mile civic which was burning through 1-2 quarts of oil every 2,000 miles...now it consumes none.

The new 350Z's have had massive oil consumption as well and also found relief from the krank vents.
