Default Oil Change time

This week im going to switch my oil to mobil 1 synthetic 10w30. Im not sure what filter to use though. i was going to go to Honda and get factory filter, but then i was thinking about just going to Pep Boys and buying a Fram or K&N one. What oil filter are you using?

Hey, you M1 guys - look at an STP filter for the same application (S2000). Compare the holes, and the stamping code - notice anything interesting? (Hint: they are identical). I do not know if the rest of the construction is the same, but my eyeballing says it is damn close - until the AutoZone guys started looking at me funny.

Hey, ASU_LEE, you ever get your Mugen?

The Mobil 1 and the STP oil filters are basically the same, but the filtering medium in the M1 is of better quality (synthetic) and supposedly the case can handle more preasure. M1 is the same as Bosch, and the STP is the same as the AC Delco. The Super Tech brand oil filters sold at Wal-Mart for $1.97 use the STP case with the M1 filtering medium.

I've heard of K&N filters fracturing and will shy away from them
