Don't you have to remove your cruise control to install one of these?

Just so you know, there is some controversy about which breather (or both) needs a catch can. Remember, there are two hoses coming from the valve cover area. One is a breather, the other a PCV valve. They both deliver "vapor" to the intake for combustion. There is some dispute as to which, or perhaps even both, occasionally deliver oil during hard turns.

To stop vapor, you will need some kind of filtering material in the can.

Its not just race cars or turbos that benefit this. If you don't beleive me, just remove the throttle body and look at all the "soot" in your intake. It is not very good for your air flow through the intake and head ports. A well designed and installed catch can should eliminate a good percentage of this.

They are definitely worth it. If nothing else, you need to keep the oil out of your intake as it degrades the octane rating of your gas. I'll be installing two this weekend; one on the PCV valve side and one on the forward valve cover vent. These will work in conjunction with the KrankVents. I'm using Jaz catch cans. Read about them at these links:

They are cheaper than Greddy and a better design.

Now you need one for the PVC valve.
