oil catch can
I noticed the Spoon S2k has an oil catch can, and since many of us lose so much oil, I was wondering if it was because of the oil vaporization, and if this catch can will help keep the intake manifold cleaner.
I noticed Greddy makes a nice one...

I am using the Greddy oil catch can and like it....I have modified mine to work a little better i don't know how good the stock one would work the design isnt that great, but easy to improve on.....the pic below is when I first put it on but now you can see the oil in the lines from the valve cover and pcv and hardly any oil in the return line to the air intake...

If you look closely at the pic i posted you can see the Greddy oil catch can near the upper shock tower....I am using the mounting point for the airbox since i am using the AEM intake at the moment... i routed the hoses from the valve cover together into one hose using a T fitting then on to the catch can, then a hose from the catch can to the intake pipe....

Please read this article, if you want to understand how the PCV works.

I bought the Greddy...be sure and get the one with the 9mm lines and fittings. It works fine. It's amazing how much oil it catches on a track day. There was no where to mount it until I changed to a different intake and created some room. I know some folks take out there remove the cruise control and mount it next to the driver side shock tower.
