Default Oil catch can

Hi !!!
I'm not really sure about the installation of a oil catch can.

I have few sample-photos only, but isn't enough help for me.

Someone can post a scheme, more concrete photos or an installation guide for dummies?

I have stock "air-enter" (I don't say it in english XD)

I search this topic in forum but I can't find it.

Thanks a lot !!!

there's couple way to route the thing, depends on what catch can you have.

if you have a enclosed catch can, you route the PCV valve(that little L shape thing on the value cover for ap1, straight plug for ap2, around cylider number 3) to the catch can inlet, and route the outside to the intake manifold port

PCV-->enclosed catch can--->manifold

if you have a vented catch can(very illegal if you are in emission nazi commonwealth of california ) you route the pvc and vc breather hose to the catch can, which is located next to the oil dip stick. plug the manifold nipple and intake nipple with a rubber plug and secure it with zip tie.

PCV-->vented catch can<----breath hose

*Make sure you use quality air hose, especially the one over the engine, with the cheap/non reinforced rubber hose, they tense to get soften as the temp from the motor arise. with the vaccum in the line they can collapse and make funny noises

however, if you haven't notice, air compressor filter catch can is actually much better device for removing oil in the line. they are rated at 5 miron size, that's VERY VERY small compare to steel wool some of the catch can uses.
they are availble in most hardware store that sell air compressor accessories and cost you around 12 -15 USD for all the part.
