Is this new? Mileage? Has you done a compression and leakdown? Have you noticed any oil loss between changes?

Almost positive its leaky valve seals/guides. Basically while your sitting there idling the motor is pumping oil up to the head and it is pooling behind the valve and slowly leaking through and getting burned off. However while under load there is negative crank case pressure which helps draw the oil through the passages in the head back down to the pan and its not having time to pool up behind the valve.
