Because, oil company's change formulations, and to get the same oil (as in: the same blend) for 6 years is not common IMO.

I burn a quart every 1500 miles, so I end up having to add 5 quarts over a 7500 mile OCI. Which means, all 5 quarts from the original oil change have been displaced (and replaced) by the time I change the oil. LOL
