I was flipping through the Honda catalog of parts and noticed that there is a seperate part number for the 2000-2001 wheels and 2002-2003 wheels. There is also an average $25 increase for the newer year application. Does anyone know if there is any difference? I just thought it was kind of odd to find this... Anyone care to enlighten me?

The 2002-2003 have a gold patina on the sides of the spokes in the unpolished area.

Not sure what "gold patina" is, but I have a set of '02 wheels, and a set of '01 wheels. The '02 wheels have a slight bronze tint to them, and the '01's don't. I like the color of the '01's better. I read somewhere that the tint comes from the clear coat. Supposedly, the clear coat on the '02 wheels is more resistant to chipping.

Come to think about it, I wonder if the '02's are producing better dyno numbers because of the wheels!

You found it! That's the difference... I thought it might have been stickers hidden on the car somewhere....
