Default OEM Rear Spoiler Install

Do I need the Heavy Duty Springs for the oem spoiler?
What will happen when you use the FOB without it?

Instead of bolting it onto the trunk, are there other good alternatives?

Thank you

I don't know how heavy the spoiler is, but if you were to install a wing, and don't switch out the springs, the trunk will kinda drop when trying to shut it.
It isn't REQUIRED, but recommended.

I have the OEM wing and I did not use the upgrad spring. The trunk will fall closed without the spring. If you need one I still have mine, unused

Install it and if the trunk releases to your satisfaction with it on, then go without, if not, then buy them after the fact. The spring tool is very handy also to install them.

Shouldn't this technically be in the over the trunk section?
