I recently installed some Axxis Ultimate front brake pads on my S in replacement of some GT Sports. The GT Sports were awesome, but way too noisy for my taste (street only). The Axxis pads are definetely quieter, but still give a consistent squeal with each press of the brake pedal....but it was tolerable.
I re-install the 00-03 brake pads that came with the car to compare, and even though they are mostly quiet they SUCK compared to the GT's and Axxis pads.

I was thinking about picking up a set of the upgraded 04-05 OEM brake pads. From what I understand they are more aggressive than the 00-03 with LOTS of dust and SOME noise. ( I don't care about dust.)

I'm wondering if it's worth me wasting my time or not....especially if they end up with the same noise as the Axxis pads and maybe even LESS performance.

Anyone have any input/recommendations?
Would the OEM's susprise me and perform well? or should I just stick with the Axxis pads?

I would stick with the Ultimates and even get them for the rear axle as well. FYI, I'm running PBR (same as Axxis) Metal Masters all around and like them.
