Default OE Honda or aftermarket o2 sensor

Hi. I got CEL code P0135 Ho2s a/f sensor s1 heater circuit. After researching on here it seems like its the Heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1 which is the primarily o2 sensor on the header. If I assume wrong can someone let me know.

So my question would be do I buy a OE one from Honda or an aftermarket one. Which ones do you guys suggest ?

Thanks in advance

Oh my last Honda, I replaced the primary O[sub]2[/sub] sensor.with a Denso one from an online auto parts supplier. Checking online I'm seeing about $140 for this option. If you want to order it from an online Honda dealer, I see about $210.

Would there be any differences if I went OE vs aftermarket ? I know some stuff you should get OE and not aftermarket. Would this be a part that doesn't really matter which route I go with ?

Oh sorry. I forgot to mention why I said Denso. Denso was the OEM for my previous Honda, so it was the same exact part number. Small letters and poor lighting, so you'll have to take my word on it, but that's what the photo shows. I did this at like 90k, the car is still going strong at 155k.

thanks again. I think I'm going to be ordering this part tonight and hopefully it will fix the CEL problem.

ok question, which one is it? the options I am given are:

1) Denso Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Direct Fit (Upstream) Part No. 234-9065 ($221)

2) Denso Oxygen Sensor Direct FitPart (Downstream) No. 234-4353 ($331)

3) Denso Air Fuel Sensor Direct Fit Part No. 234-9055 ($212)

Also, are those prices pretty much it or am I not looking at the right places? Whats the going price range for O2 sensors?

i got the OEM denso from adavance auto for $80 shipped, its the same sensor that you would get from the dealer, without the mark up price. go to their website and get the one for upper stream and use their 40% off coupon code (FABU) enter that at checkout and they will ship direct from denso. the same sensor that the 00-05 s2k's came with from factory. its $115 but minus the $40 and it comes out around 75 plus 5 tax and free shipping.

When I searched for a '07, I saw $140 for the upstream Denso (234-9065). The part number is linked in my original post. I'd also like to note that this driving with CEL isn't bad for the car, but you'll fail an inspection. You'll need to borrow an oxygen sensor tool to remove it, and use the included anti-seize on the threads before you install it. If you're talking about the the one in the exhaust manifold, that's considered the upstream sensor. The downstream sensor is the one that goes in the catalytic converter.

The upstream oxygen sensor in this schematic is labelled lambda sensor and the accompanying articles describe what it does.
