I have the same problem they told me it was because my V-Tec was winding down

Thats good to know...They also told me I am doing damage to the car because when I am breaking I also downshift they called it "Engine Breaking" and Told me I would destroy my Tranny but after they put motor Oil in my brothers Transmission and completely ruined that I don`t belive a word they say.

i am getting a similar noise to the second one on my '05. sounds like a transmission noise - i am hearing on this forum about "whirry" 2nd and 3rd gear synchros - am i going nuts? are there any TSBs for the '04/'05 transmission or is this normal. my first trip to the dealer suggests yes.
