Default Odd *random* startup/power issue

So I noticed this last year just before it was time for me to put the car away for the winter. I'll get in the car and turn the key and get no dash lights. The car is completely dead except for the radio, keyless entry, flashers and headlights. If I jump it it will start....sometimes, so I assumed I had a battery issue. The battery is only a year old, so I had it tested and it came back fine. This led me to the alternator so I had a load test done on it and it came back fine as well. I thought that maybe I had some sort of parasitic drain, so I let the car sit for a few days. It was still showing over 12 volts and started fine this afternoon.

When I went to wash the car today and roll the windows up I encountered the power issue again. I waited about 10 more mins and got full power. I just went back after roughly 1 hour and it's dead again except for the radio.

I took some video of it. You'll hear the cd changer in the background if you turn your volume up. Not too sure what exactly is causing this issue but it's a real pain since I’ve been left stranded a few times.

Have you cleaned the battery terminals and cable end terminals?

Might also take a look at the grounding wire contacts.

I have not cleaned them but I'll add it to the list. Someone on Youtube suggested I check the fuses. I checked the engine ones this afternoon. Hit or miss today as far as power. I was able to put down the top today but I went to close it up a few mins ago and no power again (except for the radio)...it's quite frustrating.

Fuses are typically working or failed; not intermittent. But ground connections to chassis can definitely be intermittent. A alternator wont cause this.

A loose ground could very well be a possibility and may explain the intermittence. I had the car towed to Honda this morning, so I'll report back once I get a diagnosis. Thanks for the reply.
