Octane + Ethanol or just Octane?
I found a gas station that sells octane 92 without ethanol for 4.30$ a gallon compared to other gas stations which have octane 92 with ethanol in it for 3.80 a gallon
Which is better for our cars performance?

100% gasoline is going to be best, though I might only pay the premium if I were going on hard drives. For normal driving I'm not sure if it would be worth an extra 50c per gallon.

Yep...plain 100% gasoline is better...but getting hard to find.I'm not a chemist, but ethanol is a type of alcohol....a drying agent.Octane is a little higher and economy is less.....that's what I hear & read.
The 10% blend is common, but stay away from the E85.
You can thank the damn EPA for this mess.

Works out to an extra 6.50$ to completely fill the car from empty to full. Doesn't seem all that bad to me.

Where I live, ethanol free gas is 50-70 cent per gallon more than standard premium. That's a steep price to pay most of the time.

I use straight E85. High octane, burns cooler, smells good. Especially wakes up boosted cars.

But like I said, I may be wrong... We don't have a single E85 station where I live, and the closest ONE is an hour drive away, and it's the only one in that city.
