Hi,

today i had my car at my honda dealer for an emission test.
The mechanic tried to connect the Mugen ECU over the ODB-II port with his Honda Testing Unit, but he cannot manage to get a connection.

Now my question, has anyone used an aftermarked ODB-II Software on Laptop/PDA and successfully read out the mugen ecu data?

The Mugen ECU does not have OBDII capability.

I've succesfully logged a UK car running a Mugen ECU using the cable/software from http://www.obd-2.com

You don't get readings from the O2 sensors, but everything like intake/coolant temp, rpm, etc come through fine.

Not enough for emissions - you can't use the Mugen ECU if you want to pass.
