I just did one this week it was not on the right, it was on the left (drivers side)
It is behind the radio like the 2002-2005, but it is tucked deeper and it's angled (02-05 points directly left)

^ Does OBD even work on an '06?
I plugged my cable/computer into an '06 (maybe it was an '07) a few months ago and it couldn't even talk to it. I thought these models were CAN buss?

Yes, 06 does work, I was surprised myself as I heard they're using OBD2a or whatever. AutoZone's orange gizmo hooked up no problem though. I was thinking of picking one up.
