Air pump control solenoid gets moved with the SC install. It used to be mounted ont he stock airbox. make sure the wiring to it is intact, not chaffed/cut/chewed. etc.

other than those, i've done extensive electrical work replacing all the bulbs in the cluster and controls (hvac, radio, roof/hazard) with lots of leds. Also, the turn, sidemarker, lic plate, dome, trunk lights have been replaced with leds.

Come to think of it... only the HID's, reverse lights, and the 2 little bulbs that light the front of the tach are stock. everything else that lights up in the car is LED.

This was all done nearly a year ago though.. never had any problems.

oooh yes... it gets relocated to the big x-member IIRC. I'll check that. The wire to the solenoid is associated with the ACG circuit?

Basically, you're saying the wire has probabaly chaffed and touched a metal contact somewhere in the engine bay, right?

also, these 2 items caught my attn on your added list above:

cruise main switch
Gauge assembly on 00-03 cars

I believe the LIGHTING to the cruise main switch and Gauge assembly are on a different circuit ('small light' or 'int light' fuses i think). So this should rule out any of the lighting mods of mine, eh?
