The VTEC pressure switch seals with an O-ring, the factory oil pressure switch for the dummy light is sealed with Hondabond from the factory. Teflon tape should work just fine as well as the fitting is a pipe thread fitting. 1/8 BSP (British Standard Pipe) to be exact.

Be very careful, there is nothing to pull torque on here. It's pipe thread (tapered) and if you are not familiar you will crack the block open.

Be gentle.

No sealant on vtec switch, it's oring sealed.

Honda bond on oil pressure switch threads.

There is no torque spec. It's pipe thread. Attempting to use a torque wrench is not a good idea.

I'd use a deep socket over the oil pressure switch, with no wrench. Use wrist pressure to tighten it down.
