NSX Conversion?
Hi folks -- I'm not looking for flames, just some serious discussion.
Has anyone thought of dropping a NSX engine in the S2K?
A couple preliminary thoughts:
1. the engine placement would have to be 'reversed/flipped' given that the NSX's stock engine placement.
2. the tranny would have to be reworked in terms of the overall driveshaft -- any actual gear work?
What do you guys think?

I think the main concerns to be addressed before undertaking this swap, is the volume of space available, trans issues, chassis strength etc. ...I think there's a saying that goes something like...when building HP, either determine how fast you want to go, how long you want it to last, and how much you want to spend, because often, they don't go hand in hand.
Either way, though, if you can pull it off, that'd be one sweet (and unique) s2k, but why mess with 50/50 weight distribution, once you've got it?
Plenty of things to consider....but good luck!

If you have enough money and a big enough hammer, anything is possible.

Oh no -- I'm not planning to do this, at least not anytime soon!
I'm just considering the feasibility of it since we have a ton of serious engineers on the board!
Thanks for all your input and let's keep it coming!
