Not another axle nut thread!

Not another axle nut thread!
I used my smooth brain and it came up with the brilliant idea of using a bathroom scale and my 3ft and change breaker bar. By power of guesstimation a 3ft long breaker bar should multiply the torque at the nut by roughly 3 times. If the generally accepted proper torque is ~350ft lbs with greased face and threads, then you only need to put ~110lbs on the end of the breaker bar to have her German spec gudntite. So you put your clump of cells on the ol' kitchen scale and add 110lbs to your mass by lifting up the breaker bar. Once you weigh an extra ~110, or 120 if you want to imagine your gains if you tighten your axle nuts 500 times a day, call it a done deal and walk away like you're walking away from an explosion.
Please tell me why this is a terrible idea.

Its a terrible idea because you are taking this statement out of context. What you quoted will guarantee everyone snaps an axle by following this. DO NOT follow this, anyone.
So no, we definitely don’t need another axle nut thread.
