Yep, I usually see stock cooling systems average right around 180-185F on the OBDII tool with ambients in the 60-70F range. Traffic or extended low speed stop and go will cause these to go up substantially, but even on a hot day its rare to see more than about 210.

The sender is located in the top radiator hose. (Blue piece in pic). I live in Houston, TX and it has been about 80+ and 90% hummidity since I got them installed. Also I have a Coastal Metal Grill.

Yes normal on short runs is never has a chance to climb that high, but I have seen it there after 60 minutes run or so. I have seen it a few times.

From the posts it looks like I am running hotter then most. I will keep a closer eye on it.

Gernby, Do you have a list of Cooling Mods you would like to share.

My cooling mods are listed in my sig, but don't go out and buy them just yet. Many people believe (myself included) that the cooling mods just decrease the MINIMUM operating temperature of the coolant, not the MAXIMUM. I will borrow the OBD-II scan tool from my friend again and recheck my temps. It is not much cooler here than it is in Houston. Now that summer is aproaching, I wouldn't be surprised if I am back up above the OEM temps with agressive driving.

You might want to try removing the grill. Anything blocking the rad inlet (even a license plate) will reduce cooling efficiency. That grill certainly offers more a restriction than stock. You might be surprised.

The location of the sender isn't ideal, but it shouldn't be off by much from the stock sender.

Moron Alert

Ok, remember I have only had these installed for a few weeks. The water temp is 190-200 and the Oil Temp is 220-230.

I feel so stupid

My sender is in the exact same location with the GReddy unit as well and my three bar temp averages 175-180 (I use Redline Water Wetter) and after idling for say, 3-4 minutes, it will snake up to 210.
