Is this normal? (UPDATE)
I just changed my oil recently and noticed that there is oil residue where the oil pan connects to the transmission. It's almost as if the car is "sweating" oil. It's not dripping or anything. It's just that this area seems "oily". I've noticed this ever since I've been changing oil on my car (about three times now). I this normal? By the way, I don't notice my car's oil level to be going down abnormally. It drinks oil but is within the same amount as others here have reported during spirited driving. Thoughts?
Here is a photo of where the oil residue is mostly concentrated at. There is residue from the surrounding area as well.
I also noticed what looks like cracks in the oil pan. I am not sure if this is just surface blemishes from manufacturing or actual cracks that go through the pan. Any thoughts on this as well?

I had a V6 accord once that did the same thing around 96000 miles. I kept cleaning it with brake cleaner and thought it was just coming from oil changes. Then I noticed that the oil looked clean as it was "sweating" it. It turned out that my rear main seal to the engine was failing. I know that the S2000 and an Accord are not the same, but the oil was coming from the junction of the transmission and motor. Hope that this is not your situation.

It's possible a little oil spilled when filling the car and made its' way to the low point underneath.

The oil looks like pretty common road grime.
The "cracks" look like normal casting marks from manufacturing.
