Default normal aspiration 01 s2k with comptech fpr #9860237

ok I just bought a s2000 2001 model red love it...it has the red disc looking comptech fuel pressure regulator part number 9860237.. here is description

Designed specifically for turbo or supercharger applications. Raises fuel pressure under boost conditions. Adjustable for pressure and ramp-up rate. Universal fit. We use this in our NSX and S2000 supercharger kits. Includes calibration parts and instructions.

and link. http://www.topendmotorsports.com/jp/...ech/index.html

...I noticed this was for the s/c kit if I'm not mistaken so basically is this safe to be on a n/a car can't tell what the pressure is set at because the fp gauge has a frosty tint on it gonna replace tommorrow to get a better perspective I noticed the exhaust tips get lots of carbon on them within a day or so of driving .... also if it is safe what should I set the idle fuel pressure at any help would be much appreciated

not shure of other upgrades only thing I've discovered so far is a k&n air intake, upgraded fuel pump, and the comptech fpr

also how can I tell if the objectors are upgraded I just bought thus car and I am coming to the conclusion it was supercharged at one point in time......thanks in advance

It is fine on your NA car. You can remove it and replace it with an OEM FPR and sell what you have and profit in the process. You really have no need for it.
If I was a betting man, I would bet you have a high flow fuel pump installed too. They are a PIA to install so they are rarely removed.

The Injectors are normally stock for the Comptech S/C kit. The quickest way for you to tell if they are upgraded is to check for wire splices on the injector wires. Most upgraded injectors use a different plug and have to be spliced in, or use an adapter harness.

FYI, Your writing is really bad and that might be the reason you got no replies. But i am just guessing

shure = sure
objectors= injectors
thus = this

You can find the part you need used in the FS forum. I have a few if you need it. The comptech installation will tell you what you need to know, just do it backwards.
