Default non-synthetic transmission fluid?

Hey everybody, I already tired researching this topic, but couldn't find any information. So, I was wondering if putting in non-synthetic tranny fluid would be beneficial to our gearbox?

IMO, It would be alright as a temporary replacement. The S2000 OM even states this- 10w30 is an acceptible substute UNTIL you can refill with genuine manual transmission fluid. If its not an emergency, use the real stuff to begin with.

Yes, you can use Honda MTF II. It is available at most Honda dealers and many use it and like it.
