So many mechanics will rattle off words, just to have something cool to say. People like that are not qualified to work at Jiffy Lube.
Sure they are:
1. They have a pulse
2. They know nothing about cars
3. They will try and convince people that they do.

Sounds like perfect managerial material at Jiffy Lube!

Ok i have been using mobile one for quite a while and i have already replaced the tct once, is synthetic oil the root of the problem or are you just changing for fun ruexp?

Doing some research here it appears there MIGHT be a correlation between the M1 and the TCT failure. I have also noticed increased seepage between the head and the block and my oil consuption (which had gone to none) has gone up since switching to M1. I am going back to GTX for all of these reasons.

any ideas? its not there when the car is cold... once it warms up the sound starts up.. most pronounced at lower rpm's (engine probably too loud after 3k)

sound disappears when i step down on the clutch... will sometimes be there at idle (video 1)
I watched and heard the video and audio. That engine sounds HORRIBLE!
Any luck fixing?

I had the engine seepage and had the bad tct, mobil 1 since 6k miles. I don't use that crap anymore in my car or by bike. It has been related to problems on bikes that have yellow metals in contact with the oil. I wanted to put great oil in there by I put crap in instead unknowingly...no more!
