How many miles do you have on the motor? I've noticed those nearing or at 100K who have never done a valve adjustment have a loud ass valve train like in that video. My car as well.

I don't know but this car is noisy by nature and it's very easy to imagine many things especially standing outside the car with the engine running. Personally, I'm still in training and attempting teach myself to ignore this noise. I'm thinking that if something is really wrong, somehow you'll know it and perhaps by a noise you never heard before. See? ,there I go again but remember I'm still in training.

My TL sounded like this after an acura dealer did a bad valve adjustment, mine was slightly worse; I thought I had a diesel motor.

I re-did my valves. With an inline 4 it should be A LOT easier.

the car has 98900 as of last night, the last valve adjust was done at about 55k...so it sounds like a valve adjustment is needed?

Not you car eh?

I dont hear anythnig unusual, but its hard to tell via the video.

I can tell you also...unless a VA was done incorrectly, the valves are not the problem.
