Noise while bedding in 4.44 Gear-X gears?

Thanks guys, it's appreciated. I will give it the gentle 400 miles and see how it goes. Upto 200 so far. I suspect it just needs a tiny bit more preload via bigger shim.

The gears the Op used are not GTM or Mazda they are Gear X brand gears.
I have had no luck with Gerar X there quality it sub standard. The Mazda gear set will install as OEM and be OEM like in sound. The issue maybe the install but is more likely the Gear X gear set.

Thanks for the reply puddy. I'm surprised at the comment on the gear x as I know of a lot of B series and one s2000 install which are fine. Out of interest how many cars have you had issues with? Which ones would you advise?
