at around 12secs into the video, i press in the clutch and the noise stops, then release the clutch again

how dose the car drive? it sounds like something in the drivetrain....and if it goes away with the clutch depressed than Im certain its in the trans.
if it were the throw-out bearing wouldnt it happen when the clutch is pressed?
clutch, bearing, gear?

I had the same problem in my 92 civic, it sounds like it could be the input shaft bearing. Just for the simple fact that when you push the clutch in it goes away. The throwout bearing would make noise when you push the clutch, not when it is at rest.

i'm confused, was always told when the clutch is pushed in its the throw out, now its not the case. Would the input shaft have anything to do with the way the car drives?? it drives perfectly fine, goes into gear fine.
