Noise coming from transmission at idle
I periodically hear a popping/clanking noise from directly under the radio and shifter while idling like something is loose. It's not really loud, but def noticeable. You can only hear it inside the car. It doesn't affect performance at all. The car drives and clutch/transmission feels completely fine. I can also hear it while driving. it's like a buzzing noise or vibration that I can even feel in the gas pedal while driving. The car is completely stock and is a MY 2000 with 74k on the clock. Any suggestions on what this might be? It's very annoying!

It does it in and out of gear, accel, decel. It happens randomly. It basically sounds like something is loose. Maybe something with the exhaust. It's a clunking/rattling noise that is random and spuratic.
I have done many searches and I don't believe it to be clutch buzz.

I'm going to put it up on a lift to change the oil. I'm going to look around and try to figure out what's wrong. I'm almost positive that something is just loose the more I listen to it.
