Noise came from pulley area, second video uploaded
hi guys...i got some wired burning smell and noise came from the alternator belt area when the car is hot, i did tried to smell the engine, but it definitely came from the alternator belt or the pulley, or may be it came from the engine!
also, the noise is just like some clicking noise, so did i broke anything?

are you hearing the clicking noise when you turn off the car? usually the clicking sound after you turn off the car is the cat but i may be wrong. does it click while the car is running? if so maybe you need a valve adjustment or it might be the timing chain tensioner (search for it). as far as the smell i cant really tell you unless you have another s2k owner or mechanic smell it.

Try checking the accessory belt if there is any damage. Also check the auto tensioner pulley. Bearings might be starting to seize. Spin it by hand if it makes any noise, (should be silent)or if there is any play. Auto zone sells it for $17, called an idler pulley. If you need to replace it the bolt is reversed thread, so turn it clockwise to loosen it. The second pulley that's mounted on the engine block should be checked too. That one I only found the bearing itself, pt# 6203 (I think), but you need a press to remove/install that bearing.
I had a tinging rattling metal noise and yea it was auto tensioner pulley. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

But i also heard some cranking/clicking noise from the engine when i shut off my car,it is not from the cat. It came from the pulley, its sound like the pulley was over tightened,or somethings broken, but its definitely came from the pulley! When i shut off the engine,i heard 'ka,,,ka,,,ka' around 2seconds.....is it likely a broken bearing?or something?thanks

No problem.. pm me if you got any questions.
i try to spin/ rotate to check if there is any noise, buy, the pulley/ belt is just way tooo tight....i did used my full energy but cant even makes it move a little bit
is it possible that the pulleys were over tightened? or something else?
thank you very much!

try to run it again. but this time turn on the AC or Heater.
My suspects are AC compressor (compressor clutch faulty).
Also AC ON will put engine on load u should hear/see it acting different.

i started up the engine and shut it down later...
and u can hear the "cranking" ( ka,ka,ka) noise at the end of the video (1:14-1:16) that i m referring to
