Default Noise between 2500-3500 RPM

My 2000 s2k has 30,000 miles on it. When i take my foot off the gas and start slowing down i here a noise coming from under the car. It sounds like the noise is coming from the rear and it does it in between 3.5k and 2.5k RPM. Does anyone know what this is??? It sounds like a rattle When i looked under the car i checked all of the heat shields. It was not that. Could it be my trans or rear????

I have the same noise and I have been under there and can't find a thing loose. I think it could be my exhaust making something vibrate at a certian RPM.

That is what i thought but it did it with my stock exhaust. I cant stand it anymore. If something is wrong i want to fix it.

So.... you're in gear, and decelerating to a stop.

That is the typical clutch buzz. Mine, and most S2Ks have that problem. Honda will sometimes replace the clutch under warranty. For he most part they deny the service. Only about half of those replaced end up fixing the problem.

There is even a TSB on it. I think number #54 or 55. One of those.

Do a search to find more.
