Starting to put a new pair of Koni yellows in the rear and as I open both boxes there is no new white plastic dust cap on the shock or in the bag of parts. Is this something new? Have they done away with it? I'd rather keep it on. The old one doesn't fit over the bump welded on the rod. I could drill the cap and put it on the new shock but I wonder if they were supposed to include it.
