[QUOTE=Utah S2K,Feb 17 2007, 05:32 PM]Three bars two bars how many bars? Bars mean NOTHING. The key is the oil pressure! As we don't have an oil

The VTEC Oil Pressure Switch sends a signal (VTM) to the ECM. The ECM then opens or closes the Valve Conrol Signal (VTS) which allows one to VTEC....or not. The electrical input of the oil pressure switch is varied dependent on pressure. Pressure is relate to viscosity which is varied by temperature (i.e. higher temp, lower viscosity, higher pressure---VTEC)

This is correct, but the ECU does not enable VTEC based on oil pressure alone. The ECU will disable VTEC if there is insufficient pressure. There are actually a number of factors that will inhibit VTEC (in addition to insufficient oil pressure and insufficient temp).

Unless the S2000 is unlike every other car I've ever worked on or owned the oil pressure goes down as viscosity drops, not the other way around.

Does the S2000 really behave in this bizarre manner?

Normally lower viscosity means greater flow (for obvious reasons) and greater flow MUST mean reduced pressure. How is it that the S2000 is producing the opposite result?

SOLVE!!! I found the problem. Today I recieved in the mail the Helms manual. With the manual I followed each of the elimination process. Everything checked-out and properly working.

My friend in exospeed noticed the oil filter, and suggest to me to do an oil change. Guess what i found out! The spring inside the filter broke off, basically the oil was free flowing inside the filter.

Further more i compare the filter with the new one, and it was a smaller cylinderical structure.

LESSON: Always always do not trust other mechanics other than yourself!

basically, oil pressure was low...

Thanx guys for all your help!

Sounds like you had the generic Honda oil filter (was it blue in color?). It's used on all Honda's except for the S2000. The correct Honda filter to use is the PCX-004 on the S2000. Now you can enjoy your car! Have fun.
